Travel Reservations
Many of the smaller local reservation counters (especially in the automobile rental industry) incorporate fax machines, or dial up printers to deliver reservation advice to that counter. Rather than invest in and maintain internal fax servers, this portion of the travel/reservation business is outsourced to service providers like iFax.us.
Airline and Hotel reservation centers as well as travel agents use fax to send confirmations, itineraries and the like to the customer.
